These are scans I took from a book on the Night Climbers of Cambridge that I found in a bookshop bargain basement on an idle afternoon of avoiding the university library tearoom. They were a secret society who gathered to scale the iconic rooftops of the university chapels, bridges and colleges. I love the way the pictures look, and the climbers themselves look really great too.
